The Patriots are upset with the star quarterback over his handling of the knee injury he suffered in New England’s season opener, which resulted in torn anterior cruciate and medical collateral ligaments.
Instead of going with a Boston doctor of the Patriots’ choosing, Brady went with a California doctor his family trusted, which has upset the organization. Brady was expected back in Boston by now, but had another procedure done as recent as Oct. 15.
The organization has reason to be mad. What was perceived as a Super Bowl team was all but squandered as soon as Brady incurred the hit from Kansas City Chiefs safety Bernard Pollard. Only a year removed from a nearly undefeated season where they went 18-1, losing in the Super Bowl, New England is now 4-2 with a life-time backup under center in Matt Cassel.
Another Patriot recently went down when safety Rodney Harrison received a high thigh injury that some say may be the end of his career. The 35-year-old Harrison is in the 15th year of his career.
